The European Project Center invites teams consisting of students, companies, start-ups or maritime interested people to participate in the Portathon 2021! This year, this hackathon will take place as a hybrid event, with the Wismar campus as the physical location. As of now, teams consisting of three to five people can register for the event.
The goal of the hackathon is to develop innovative solutions to the called challenges. These are provided by the ports - among others Klaipeda and Hamburg -, i.e. real problems of the port industry form the basis of the event.
This year, the best solutions will again receive a cash prize. Last year Wismar could already provide a winning team (The Baltic Merchants) and therefore we hope for many participants again this year to compete internationally.
IMPORTANT: Participation is free of charge and open to everyone, including students from other colleges and universities.
