The project partners met in Szczecin (Poland). Work package 2 includes "Preparing for the green energy transition in the ecosystems of small and medium-sized ports".

An empirical data collection from different stakeholders was discussed and the decision for a study trip to the Maritime Week in Singapore from 15 to 19 April 2024 was confirmed.

A working session at the Maritime University of Szczecin on the first day was complemented by a visit to one of the project's economic partners. The second day was spent in Swinoujscie, at the Euro Terminal, where the project partners were able to see for themselves the plans to switch to green operations in cargo handling.

A further project meeting is planned for early September 2024 as part of the annual Baltic Ports Conference, which will be hosted by the Baltic Ports Organisation and one of the project partners - Klaipeda Seaport - in the Lithuanian port city of Klaipeda from 3 to 6 September 2024.
