From 11 to 12 November 2025, partners of the Urbiobauhaus project met in Budapest and Érd, Hungary, to evaluate current progress and coordinate future activities that aim to enhance urban biodiversity in line with the New European Bauhaus initiative.
During the meeting, Dr Monika Klein from Wismar University of Applied Sciences presented the conceptual framework for the Transnational Participative Testing Report, outlining the key methodological stages and the next steps in the development process. A field visit to the 'Climate Park' pilot site in Érd enabled participants to observe local biodiversity initiatives and discuss potential implementation strategies.
The Urbiobauhaus project brings together municipalities and academic institutions from across Europe to develop innovative and inclusive models for greener urban environments. The project is led by Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
