Youth Democracy Festival in Lithuania

From 13 to 15 May 2026, a Cross-border Youth Democratic Festival organised by the D-EFFECT project took place in Kretinga, Lithuania. Young people and project partners from five countries developed ideas for the future of Europe under the theme ‘Europe 2050’. Wismar University of Applied Sciences was represented by Svetlana Saidensal and Bilguun Tsend-Ayush from the European Project Centre. Together with the University of Klaipėda, they ran a workshop on barriers to cross-border youth participation. The findings will be incorporated into the project’s future work.
