Also this year the Hackathon "Portathon" will take place as a hybrid event in Klaipeda (Lithuania). From 30.09. to 02.10., international teams will face practice-based maritime challenges with a focus on the development of innovative solutions around the Baltic Sea ports. The EPC supports the organization of the event with the ongoing project DECADE2030.
Once again, a financial prize awaits the participating teams: EUR 1,000 will be awarded to the teams with the most innovative solutions. An international jury of scientists, entrepreneurs and port managers will evaluate all proposed solutions and award the best ones.
Also this year, the EPC calls for active participation! Two years ago, the University of Wismar was able to provide one of the winning teams and is eager to repeat this. It is possible to participate online as well as physically in Klaipeda - travel expenses can be covered by the EPC.
