EPC at TOC Europe 2026 in Hamburg

Project partners learned about current developments in the fields of port logistics, digitalisation and maritime innovation.

Representatives of the DigiTechPort2030 project attended the TOC Europe trade fair and conference in Hamburg on 19 and 20 May 2026. Dr Laima Gerlitz and Elizaveta Diatlova were there on behalf of the European Project Centre at Wismar University of Applied Sciences.

The event brought together international companies, port authorities, logistics experts and technology providers. The focus was on current developments in the fields of port digitalisation, smart logistics, automation technologies and sustainable solutions for the maritime sector.
In addition to specialist presentations and exhibitions, the project partners took the opportunity to exchange ideas with industry representatives and to present the project. In the process, new contacts were made for potential future collaborations.

On 20 May, a face-to-face meeting of the project consortium also took place at acquinet. The partners discussed the project’s progress, ongoing activities and the next steps towards achieving the project’s objectives.
