Compliance expert joins the teaching staff in Wismar

Wismar University of Applied Sciences has recruited Tobias Ruppert, Compliance Officer at Daimler Truck AG, an experienced practitioner who will bring a practical approach to teaching in the field of business ethics and compliance management.

How can ethical principles and complex regulatory requirements be effectively implemented in business practice? Tobias Ruppert addresses this question; as a lecturer in the field of ‘Business Ethics and Compliance Management’, he brings his many years of international experience in compliance management at Daimler Truck AG to his teaching at Wismar University of Applied Sciences.

In view of increasing regulatory requirements and complex international conditions, effective compliance management is becoming ever more important for companies. At the same time, this field opens up a wide range of career prospects for aspiring leaders and management experts.

Prof. Dr Ali Arnaout, Programme Director of the Master’s programme in International Management and coordinator of the Erasmus+ project EUComplianceM4UA, emphasises the integration of theory and practice. To strengthen this approach, he recruited Tobias Ruppert as a lecturer for the faculty.
