Under the title “Is it still allowed? – Freedom of expression between chocolate kisses, lèse-majesté and international law”, students on the Master’s programme in Business Law will present their findings on current social and legal issues.
The Jura Show is part of an innovative teaching format based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Over the course of a semester, students independently formulate research questions, develop legally sound answers, and prepare these in a way that is accessible and practical for the stage. The process is supported by coaching sessions, feedback rounds and group discussions.
The format combines academic depth with clear communication, whilst also fostering teamwork, presentation skills and the responsible application of the law. The aim is to present complex legal topics in such a way that their social and practical relevance becomes comprehensible even to non-lawyers.
Following the event, Wismar Business School invites you to a Prosecco reception on campus from 1.00 pm. Together with students, lecturers, administrative staff and guests from the legal profession and academia, we will celebrate the end of the academic year.
