In the City Cycling 2026 event in the district of North-West Mecklenburg, the “Campus Cycling – Wismar University of Applied Sciences” team came 6th out of 103 teams.
The 38 participants covered a total of 8,808 kilometres, significantly exceeding the previous year’s result.
Marc Witt, with 2,222.2 kilometres, and Kai FWW, with 1,413.3 kilometres, were particularly active. In total, the campaign saved around 36 tonnes of CO₂ in the district. The university regularly takes part in the campaign for sustainable mobility.
