To mark its 30th anniversary on 16 September 2026, AIDA Cruises is organising its first Innovation Hub in Rostock and invites start-ups, companies and universities to take part.
The company is seeking innovative ideas in the fields of decarbonisation, sustainability, artificial intelligence and smart tools. The best projects will be presented to a panel of experts and further developed in collaboration with them.
Prof. Dr Ali Arnaout, a representative of Wismar University of Applied Sciences, is also part of the jury. As a professor and programme director of the Master’s programme in International Management, he deals intensively with these future-oriented fields in both teaching and research. And as the former CFO of AIDA Cruises and CIO of the Costa Group, he is also well versed in the requirements of the cruise industry.
The Innovation Hub provides a platform for exchange between academia and industry, as well as for new impetus in the maritime economy.
