Master of Business Informatics project successfully completed

The project team, consisting of (from left to right) Finn Böttcher, Julia Lindenblatt, Marica Grabau and Rico Semlin; Mr Michael Doktor (Foxy Power GmbH) as well as Prof. Dr Marianne Schmolke and Mr Thomas Paetow after the successful final presentation.

The scientific project work of the students was based on the following contents in particular

  • Recording, documenting and analysing selected business processes and the information systems used by the company
  • Developing a concept with proposed solutions for the future design of the business processes, taking into account the specific needs of the company
  • Modelling the business processes (actual and target) using the standardised specification language BPMN 2.0 in English

The students achieved excellent results, which exceeded the expectations of the management of Foxy Power GmbH. The quality was high, the results practical and the communication very professional. Feedback was actively sought and immediately implemented. The project ended very successfully with a final presentation of the results, carried out independently by the students, which was comparable to a management consultancy presentation. The collaboration was instrumental in Foxy Power GmbH signing a cooperation agreement with Wismar University of Applied Sciences. The project was supervised by Mr. Michael Doktor from Foxy Power GmbH and Prof. Dr. Marianne Schmolke and Mr. Thomas Paetow from Wismar UAS.
